New Delhi (28.09.2022): Life India Corporation (LIC) has acquired over 2 per cent stake in Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd (BPCL) for Rs 1,598. LIC informed that its shareholding in BPCL has increased from Rs 15,25,08,269 to 19,61,15,164 equity shares increasing its shareholding from 7.03 per cent to 9.04 per cent of the paid-up capital of the company. BPCL has a market capitalisation of Rs 67,301 crore which is in the refining of crude oil and marketing of petroleum products.
