- Sunil Kumar Gupta (lAS:1987:WB) was appointed as Secretary to the Vice President of India in the rank and pay of Secretary till the date of his superannuation on 31.12.2023 or until further orders.
- Financial Services Institutions Bureau (FSIB) on Tuesday selected Mohammad Mustafa (IAS:1995:UP) for the position of Chairman, National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD). FSIB interacted with 15 candidates on August 16 & 17, 2022 for the position of NABARD.
- Dr. Honnareddy N (lFoS:2008:TR) was appointed as Private Secretary Pralhad V Joshi, Union Minister for Parliamentary Affairs, Coal and Mines, in the Ministry of Mines and Mine Coal for a period of two years w.e.f. 23.08.2022 and upto 23.08.2024 on a co-terminus basis with the Minister.
- PESB on Wednesday selected Nilendu Kumar Singh (GM, South Eastern Coalfields Ltd.) for the post of Director (Technical), Eastern Coalfields Limited.
- Mrs Ahuti Swain was on Tuesday selected for the post of Director (Personnel), Eastern Coalfields Limited (ECL). Presently Mrs. Swain is General Manager, Bharat Coking Coal Ltd.
- The additional charge of the post of CVO, Rashtriya Ispat Nigam Ltd (RINL), Vishakhapatnam was assigned to Bharatula Vishwanath (IRSS:1996) for a period of six months beyond 30.08.2022 or till the appointment of a regular CVO. Presently, he is working as CVO, National Mineral Development Corporation Limited (NMDC).
- The Government of Himachal Pradesh appointed Dr Rachna Gupta as Chairman, Himachal Pradesh Public Service Commission (HPPSC) for a term of six years or till 62 years of age, whichever is earlier.
