Gautam H. Bambawale, (lFS: 1984) has been appointed as the next High Commissioner of lndia to the lslamic Republic of Pakistan. Presently he is serving as Ambassador of lndia to Bhutan. He will succeed T C A Raghvan (IFS:1982) the incumbent High Commissioner to Pakistan.
He is expected to take up his assignment shortly.
