The NaMo administration on Friday placed the services of M Nageshwar Rao (IPS:1986:OR) under Union Home Ministry as DG, Fire Service, Civil Defence and Home Guards till his retire i.e. July 2020. Presently, he is Additional Director General, CBI.  It may be mentioned that post faction feud and midnight operation  at CBI headquarter in October last year Nageshwar Rao was made interim Chief of CBI. .
