In its first major bureaucratic reshuffle the Yogi Govt in UP transfers as many as 20 senior IAS officers whereas over a dozens have been placed under compulsory wait.
Mrityunjay Kr Narayan (IAS:1995) has been made Secretary to CM Yogi Adityanath whereas Principal Secretary to CM Awanish Kumar Awasthi (IAS:1987) gets all charges (including Prl Secretary, Info & PR) earlier with Navneet Sehgal (IAS:1988). Sehgal has been shifted out as Principal Secretary for Tourism, Information and Religious Affairs departments. He has also been divested of the post of CEO of the Uttar Pradesh State Highway Authority (UPSHA) and the Uttar Pradesh Expressway Industrial Authority (UPEIDA).
Anita Singh (IAS:1990), who had a five-year stint in the Akhilesh Yadav government as PS to CM, has also been transferred.
Rama Raman (IAS:1987), Principal Secretary in Industrial and Infrastructure Development Department and Chairman of Noida Authority, has also been put in the officers waiting for a new posting.
Gurdeep Singh (IAS:1985), Principal Secretary of Mining Department, has also been wait-listed. He has been replaced by Raj Oratap Singh (IAS:1983).
Meerut Divisional Commissioner Alok Sinha (IAS:1986) has been named the new Principal Secretary of the Industrial and Infrastructure Development Department.
Dimple Verma (IAS:1989) Principal Secretary in Child Development Department, has also been shunted out. Anita C Meshram (IAS:1996) has been named the new Secretary of the department.
The CEO of Greater Noida and Noida authorities, Deepak Agarwal (IAS:2000), has also been divested of his position. Amit Mohan Prasad (IAS:1989), Investment Commissioner of UP, has replaced Agarwal.
Lucknow Divisional Commissioner Bhuvnesh Kumar (IAS:1995) and UPSIDC Managing Director Amit Kumar Ghosh (IAS:1994) have also been removed. Ranveer Prasad (IAS:2000) has been given the charge of UPSIDC as Managing Director.
Vijay Kumar Yadav, Vice Chairman of the Ghaziabad Development Authority (GDA), has also been shifted out.
Two close aides of former Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav, Amor Kumar and Pandhari Yadav, have been removed and posted as Members (Judicial) of the Revenue Board in Allahabad.
As expected Navneet Sehgal, Anita Singh, Dimpal Verma, Gurdeep Singh and Rama Raman have been put on compulsory wait.
