Managing
Director of Delhi-Mumbai Industrial Corridor Corporation (DMICDC) Alkesh Kumar
Sharma (IAS:1990:KL) is facing an uncertainty over his next tenure. Having completed his
central deputation tenure on 19 January, he is reportedly gone on long
leave. That's because the Centre has neither sought the NoC from the state
government which is mandatory for one's continuation on central deputation nor
has the Centre issued any order regarding his extension as yet. Indianmandarins
has reliably learned that the Kerela Govt is expected to effect an IAS
reshuffle as a few senior IAS officers have been awaiting their turn to move to
the Centre following the completion of cooling off tenure. It is believed that
Sharma might be aiming at a critical appointment in the state. Whatever,
had the Centre posted Sharma to an Additional Secretary post, he could have
breathed easy. At the moment he finds his next assignment hanging in balance.
