The Govt of Jharkhand has issued a show cause notice to Panchayati Raj Secretary, Ms. Vandana Dadel (IAS:1996:JH), asking her to give an explanation on her Facebook post (dated October 20) that questioned the issue of religious conversions being raised during a government function. She has been given 15 days time to respond.
Reportedly she had posted her comment on Jharkhand CM's statement during his public address in Dumka wherein he had asked people to inform police about those indulging in conversions through allurement.
In her FB post, she had raised a question by writing..... "Does a tribal have no right to choose a religion of his/her choice with respect."
