CBI too comes out with helping hands to labourers and workers

547Premier investigation agency of the country, the CBI, has joined hands with many other government department and agencies to provide food to needy and poor people including migrant labourers and workers. This is being done amid the countrywide lockdown. The CBI in Chennai, Bangalore, and Hyderabad have already extended support voluntarily and distributed food/ration to these homeless migrant labourers/workers staying in temporary shelters. Several states including Odisha, Punjab, and Telangana have already extended till the end of April the three-week countrywide lockdown making lives of poor difficult. However, all possible efforts are being made to provide them food.
