- New Delhi (18.07.2025): Notifications of appointments and recommendations issued on Friday are as follows
- Neeraj Mittal (IAS: 1992: TN), Secretary, Department of Telecommunications, has been entrusted with additional charge of the post of Secretary, Ministry of Development of North Eastern Region from 20.07.2025 to 24.07.2025 during the period of absence on leave of Chanchal Kumar (IAS: 1992: BH).
- New Delhi (17.07.2025): Notifications of appointments and recommendations issued on Thursday are as follows:
- The tenure of international assignment of Dr Vaidya Rajeshwari Singh as Consultant in Digital Health and Innovation (DHI), World Health Organization (WHO) was extended for a further period of one year from 01.07.2025 to 30.06.2026 or until further orders whichever is earlier. She is RO (Ay) Central Council for Research in Ayurvedic Sciences (CCRAS).
- New Delhi (16.07.2025): Notifications of appointments and recommendations issued on Wednesday are as follows:
- Purushottam Parashar, an officer of NTPC, has been appointed as Officer on Special Duty to the Minister for Communications and Development of North Eastern Region Jyotiraditya M Scindia in Ministry of Communications at the level of Director for a period of 02 years, 02 months and 11 days.
Asheesh Kumar, General Manager, Coal lndia Limited (ClL), has been appointed as Director (Business Development), CIL for a period of five years.
- Tenure of Gurdeep Singh, the incumbent CMD of NTPC, has been extended on a contract basis, who was due to retire on July 31, 2025.

- Tenure of Priyanka Singh (IRS IT:2006), Director, Central Vigilance Commission, has been extended for a period of one year i.e. up to 12.08.2026. She is on central deputation w.e.f. 13.08.2020.
Shyam Bhagat Negi (IPS: 1990: HP), Special Secretary, Cabinet Secretariat (SR), has been repatriated to his parent cadre on personal grounds.
- Prashant Kumar Singh (IAS: 1993: MN) has been appointed to the post of Secretary, National Commission for Scheduled Tribes vice Puneet Kumar Goel (IAS: 91: AGMUT), in the rank and pay of Secretary to Government of India.
- Tenure of Dipti Mohil Chawla (IDAS: 1995), Additional Secretary, Department of Defence, Ministry of Defence, has been extended for a period up to 06.05.2026.
- Post of General Manager, Food Corporation of India (FCI) held by Vishesh Garhpale (IAS: 2008: MP), General Manager (Madhya Pradesh), FCI (Director Level), has been upgraded to the level of Joint Secretary for a period up to 07.09.2025.
- Post of General Manager, Food Corporation of India (FCI) held by Sharandeep Kaur Brar (IAS: 2009: HY), General Manger (Haryana), FCI (Director Level), has been upgraded to the level of Joint Secretary for a period up to 20.08.2026.

- Tenure of Sharmistha Maitra (IDES: 2005), Director in the Ministry of Defence, has been extended for a period of two years i.e. up to 31.08.2027. Her central deputation tenure is w.e.f. 01.09.2020.
- Tenure of Shalini Pandey (IDES: 2004), Director in the Ministry of Housing & Urban Affairs, has been extended for a period of two years i.e. up to 16.08.2027. Her deputation tenure is w.e.f. 17.08.2020.

Sudhir Kallaya Hiremath (IPS: 2007: MH), DIG, CBI, has been prematurely repatriated to his parent cadre on personal grounds with the condition of "extended Cooling Off'.
- Additional charge of the post of Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Polavaram Project Authority, Hyderabad held by Atul Jain, Chairman, Krishna River Management Board (KRMB), Hyderabad, has been extended for a period of six months w.e.f. 28.05.2025.
- Sajeesh Kumar N (IRTS: 2002), Coal Controller, Coal Controller Organisation under the Ministry of Coal, has been entrusted with additional charge for the post of Commissioner (JS level), Coal Mines Provident Fund Organisation (CMPFO) for a period of six months w.e.f. 01.05.2025.
- Additional charge of the post of Chief Executive Officer (JS level), Coconut Development Board (CDB) held by Prabhat Kumar, Horticulture Commissioner, has been extended for a period of six months w.e.f. 06.04.2025.
- Tenure of Saket Kumar (IAS: 2009: BH), Joint Secretary, Department of Commerce, has been extended for a period of two years beyond 16.08.2025.
- New Delhi (11.07.2025): Notifications of appointments and recommendations issued on Friday are as follows:Chandrashekhar Nayaka L (IAS: 2013: KN) has been appointed as Officer on Special Duty (OSD) to Union Minister for Finance & Corporate Affairs, Nirmala Sitharaman, in the Ministry of Finance, for a term of four years.
- Union Home Secretary Govind Mohan's (IAS: 1989: SK) service tenure has been extended until August 22, 2026, or further orders, whichever is earlier, beyond his initial retirement date of September 30, 2025.
- Sonali Mishra (IPS: 1993: MP) has been appointed as Director General of the Railway Protection Force, Railway Board, until her superannuation on October 31, 2026.
- The tenure of V Hekali Zhimomi (IAS: 1996: UP) as CEO of the National Health Authority has been extended until November 22, 2025, in addition to her current role as Additional Secretary in the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare.
- Nivedita Shukla Verma (IAS: 1991: UP) has been assigned additional charge as Secretary, Department of Health and Family Welfare, from July 12, 2025, to August 3, 2025, during Punya Salila Srivastava's (IAS: 1993: AGMUT) leave period. Currently, Verma serves as Secretary, Department of Chemicals and Petrochemicals.
- Rohit Kumar (IAS: 1997: RJ) has been appointed as Additional Secretary at NITI Aayog, in addition to his central deputation tenure being extended by one year until September 24, 2026. He is currently serving as Additional Secretary in the Cabinet Secretariat.
- Anupam Mishra's (IES: 1995) central deputation tenure has been extended by one year, until July 23, 2026. He currently serves as Joint Secretary in the Department of Consumer Affairs.
- Asif Jalal's (IPS: 2002: HP) central deputation tenure has been extended by two years, beyond September 23, 2025. He currently serves as Inspector General in the Border Security Force.
