Indianmandarins has reliably learnt that two names have been proposed for the coveted post of Chief Vigilance Officer (CVO) of BHEL. The post fell vacant in October this year following the appointment of Arvind Kadyan (IDAS:1987) as CVO, State Trading Corporation.
The appointment process of CVO, BHEL is said to have started and reportedly the race is between an IPS officer and an IPoS officer. If some well-placed sources are to be believed an Indian Postal Service officer Anil Kumar (1989 batch) is the front-runner. However, the IPS officer is still in the reckoning.
