Two PSB gets their new chiefs

PSB Chiefs, Bank of India MD, UBI Chief, United Bank of India
The incumbent ED of Bank of India, Ravindra Prabhakar Marathe, has been appointed as its MD & CEO, whereas Pawan Kumar Bajaj, ED of Indian Overseas Bank, has been appointed as MD & CEO of United Bank of India.
Marathe has been a ED of BoI Limited since March 10, 2015. He served as a General Manager of Bank of Baroda. He joined BoB as a Planning Officer in 1982. He has also worked in corporate planning division having exposure to strategic planning, performance budgeting, economic research, MIS, environmental scanning and data warehouse functions. He also worked at branches having exposure to corporate credit and trade finance for over six years. He also serves as a Member of Board of Directors of BOI AXA Investment Managers Private Limited. He acquired CAIIB and Dip. in Treasury, Investment and Risk Management (IIBF) qualifications besides a Certificate in Computer Applications. He holds a Master’s degree in Economics (Gold Medal) from M S University of Baroda.
On the other hand, Bajaj took charge as Executive Director of Indian Overseas Bank on 10th March 2015. His portfolio includes MSME, Mid Corporate, Treasury, Retail Banking, Planning, Public Relations, HR, Industrial Relations, Personnel Administration, Balance Sheet Management, Risk Management etc.
Prior to joining Indian Overseas Bank, he was the Chief General Manager at National Banking Group (NBG) – North,  Bank of India, comprising 10 zones covering Delhi, Rajasthan, Jammu & Kashmir, Punjab, Haryana,  Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand and Uttar Pradesh states and Chandigarh U.T. He started his career  in Bank of India as DRO  in  1982 and rose to the level of Chief General Manager before moving to Indian Overseas Bank as Executive Director.
