If grapevine in the power corridors is to be believed, Modi is about to do a Narsimha Rao in his government by making Reserve Bank of India Governor Raghuram Rajan as Union Finance minister replacing his most trusted lieutenant in the government Arun Jaitely. The PM is not happy with the state of affairs on economic front and he wants to rejuvenate the economy on one hand on the other hand wants support of the Congress on several policy issue. With Rajan being at helm, the party may get support on several economic issues as Rajan was close to the Congress and was given this coveted responsibility by the Congress.
