A group of 181 IAS probationers (2015 batch) attending the IAS Professional Course Phase –I for the 2015 Batch called on Prime Minister Narendra Modi today.
The Prime Minister encouraged the probationers to keeping in mind the welfare of the poorest of the poor, while taking decisions. PM underlined the importance of progress and connectivity in the North-East. He indicated that the development of India would be meaningless if NE is left behind. Giving insight into the charm, challenges and importance of All India Services PM pointed out that his ability and competence to hold the responsibilities of the offices, as PM, certainly emanated from his extensive travels and diverse experiences across India for over four decades.
