Bengaluru (18.01.2024): Two officers -- Divya Prabhu (IAS: 2014: KN) and Shikha C (IAS: 2004: KN) -- have been choses for ‘Best Electoral Practice’ awards for 2023, instituted by Election Commission of India (ECI). The awards will be presented to them on January 25, 2024 in Delhi as part of National Voters’ Day.

Divya has been chosen under the general award category for adopting best practices in electoral role management, including addition of young voters and specially-abled ones across the district. Shikha bagged the award under ‘best performing state’ category who has been hailed for creating awareness about freebies among voters and effective implementation of model code of conduct in monitoring election expenditure by candidates.
