New Delhi (17.06.2021): The Banks Board Bureau (BBB) has invited applications for the post of MD and CEO of PNB, the second-largest PSB with a business of over ₹18 lakh crores following the three-way merger of OBC and UBI with the PNB from April 1, 2020. The current MD & CEO Ch S.S. Mallikarjuna Rao is scheduled to retire on September 18 this year. He joined PNB in September 2019. Before that, he functioned as the MD & CEO of Allahabad Bank since September 2018. One of the latest BBB stipulations for applicants is that they must be in the age group of 45 to 57 years as of September 19, 2021. The BBB has also specified that the applicant should have a minimum experience of 15 years in mainstream banking, of which at least one year should be at the board level as of September 19, 2021. The selected person would hold the office for a period of three years, subject to the superannuation age of 60 years. The last date for submitting the online application for this post is July 17, 2020.
