Home Minister Rajnath Singh will inaugurate in Ghaziabad a newly-constructed CDTS Campus under the administrative control of Bureau of Police Research & Development (BPR&D) on 04th October. The Central Detective Training School (CDTS) imparts training to Inspector & DSP rank officers in the investigation.
CDTS Ghaziabad is the fifth campus followed by Kolkata, Hyderabad, Chandigarh and Jaipur campus.
On 12 August this year, he had inaugurated the first National Conference of investigating agencies and given ‘Best Investigator Medal’ to the Investigators to improve the quality of the investigation. The two-day conference was organised by the BPR&D in coordination with NIA.
This time (04 Oct 2016) will be the Home Minister’s second visit in the last two months to a BPR&D event as a guest of honour.
The move is seen as great encouragement by the HM to CPOs and their activities.
