Ganga Mata’s fury with government selection

MWRRDGR, Rajat Bhargava
Is the Ganga Mata furious about government selections? Is the post of mission director for National Mission for Clean Ganga jinxed? Rajat Bhargava (IAS:1990:AP) has become the third officer in the last two-and-a-half years to be shown the door well before the expiry of his term. A 1990-batch IAS officer of Andhra Pradesh cadre, spent less than six months at NMCG. Before him, R R Mishra and T V S N Prasad met the same fate. Mishra was moved out within a few months of the BJP government coming to power in 2014. Similarly, Prasad was transferred out within a few months after taking charge.
